Nutrition Program nilunsad sa mga tahanan
VALENZUELA CITY-Target ngayon ng local na pamahalaan sa pangunguna Education 360
Degrees Investment Program sa pakikipag tulungan ng Ateneo Center for Educational Development’s (ACED) ng Blueplate Program at ang Department of Education (DepEd) ay palakasin ang 4,670 undernourished mula K to 6 na beneficiaries mula public elementary schools.
Ayon Mayor REX Gatchalian, layunin ng programa na palakasin ang pangangatawan at kaisipan ng mga mag aaral sa muli nilang pag balik sa kanilang paaralan sa susunod na pasukan.
“Baseline and yearend data show that the program demonstrated improvement in academic standing of the students, with a record of 75% annual progression average and improvement in nutritional status of student beneficiaries is 88%average annually. It has also helped in the constant decrease in the malnutrition in the city”. Ani Gatchalian
Base sa tala ng lungsod mula 2013 ay nasa 2.1% , 2014: 1.8%, 2015: 1.54%, 2016: 1.39% 2017: 1.24% at itong nakaraan 2018 ay nasa 1.03% na lamang ang undernourished.
Ang naturang programa ay nagsimula noong march 1 na magtatapos ngayon araw march 6 na tinatayang nasa P11 kada araw ang binubunong budget bawat bata.
“The volunteers who are continually sending their heart-felt support in the success of the program are the true fuel of the program. Without them the implementation of the program will be rather costly on the part of the
